LADIES
Ladies were a band that I started to follow because they were hosting a night at Lennon bar in Liverpool.
They were playing their songs but also inviting various other artists to play at their nights. That is also a very good way to make public relations in the music circuit of a city.
At the beginning when they asked me to be produced I though that they had good tunes but the band was not ready yet for studio.
Well the band grew rapidly, got much tighter and so I purposed them to record 2 songs and see how it was. That time I choose Ark Studio in Liverpool to track the tunes and the idea was to release 2 singles.
I remember that in that period I watched a couple of their shows that were very convincing, included one at the legendary Cavern club (Famous for having played The Beatles there).
We managed to release only one of the 2 singles because the band split before the release of the second. In any case I am happy to know they have now different projects and they are doing good. I still like a lot ‘Sometimes you’ve just got to lose’, the single we released with them.
